Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is open to all manner of people irrespective of age, sex, religion and race who accepts to confess their sins and be baptized by immersion in the Name of The Father, Son and The Holy Spirit. According to the Sole Spiritual Head of the Universe, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, coming into Brotherhood is by divine ordination. Except one is destined to be a member, one can never be. Romans 8: 30 “…Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified”.


Anyone who wishes to be a full member of BCS Kingdom must be baptized and must obtain the following credentials for identification:-

These are newly baptized members who are not yet assigned to any of the other groups mentioned below.


These are babies from one day up to twelve years of age and they constitute the Sabbath group. They are encouraged to exhibit their spiritual talents such as singing, praying, preaching, etc. to the glorification of The Father.


These are assigned to sing new heavenly melodious songs before the throne of God. They play important role in the Bethel in reviving the spirit of members through stimulating spiritual songs and anthems. Their songs convey healing, inspire faith and preach the word of God. Their role is very important in all BCS activities.


These are endowed with spiritual gifts of visioning, dreaming and prophesying (about past events, present and future occurrences) for the enhancement of The Holy Father’s work. They also heal the sick and perform positive miracles using only The Holy and New Name of God, Olumba Olumba Obu.  


These are expected to play active roles to ensure the smooth functioning of Bethels. They are to maintain peace and unity among members. They are the pillars of the Bethel and are assigned to preach the word of God and to baptize new members. They are also empowered to pray, heal and contribute morally and financially towards the growth of The BCS Kingdom.


These are chosen and anointed by the Holy Father for the spreading of the message of this New Kingdom to all the nooks and crannies of the world; baptizing them in the name of The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are to act as mothers and Fathers in Bethels.

True Christ Witnesses (TCW)

These are called, chosen and commissioned by The Holy Father as Teachers in the Kingdom. They are to teach, practice the supernatural teachings and advise all members irrespective of rank, race, tribe and position. These men and women, formerly called Christ Students, left everything they had and followed The Supreme Holy Father, The Supernatural Teacher and The Holy Spirit Personified, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu to study under Him. The formation of this divine body dates back to late 1968. They are Celibates and Eunuchs; and have graduated from Christ Studentship to True Christ Witnesses. And having been taught by The Holy Father, they are also sent to Bethels all over the world on Missionary assignment(s).


These are men and women drawn from all walks of life into the service of God. “Selfless Service to humanity” is their watch word. As Servants to Christ, they are saddled with enormous responsibilities which extend to hospitals and prisons. They are also to provide solace and relief to orphans and the less privileged in society. They are to render humanitarian services to all mankind, construct roads; engage in farming, trading and various commercial activities for the purpose of meeting the needs of the less privileged. They are also tutored and sent by The Holy Father as missionaries to various BCS Bethels and Pentecostal Centers all over the world to teach people the word of God. They are blessed with the spiritual gifts of healing, prophesy and the power of the spoken word.


These are those who were housed and trained by The Holy Father in 26 Mbukpa Road Calabar. They constitute the first batch of Brotherhood Seminarians (Students) from late 60s. They serve as clergymen in BCS with exemplary characters and conducts, until their nomenclature was changed from Christ Students to Christ Practical Students. Their duties are to preach and practice the teachings and ways of The Holy Spirit. Some of them are also assigned to various BCS Bethels and Pentecostal Centers to teach others to follow the path of righteousness.


The Christ Natural Preachers are those whom The Holy Father used in the propagation of the gospel of the New Kingdom from the cradle. They played vital role in the propagation of the message of the new Kingdom of God on earth and mission of The Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu.


Their mission, dating back from 1970 to this day is to go to all nooks and crannies of the world to evangelize mankind with the divine wisdom of the Holy Spirit. They are also assigned to BCS Branches all over the world as Missionaries.


The Blessed Mothers of the New Kingdom was physically instituted by The King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu on August 9, 2015 to consummate the promise of Our Lord Jesus Christ to those virtuous women who dedicated themselves to the mission of The Lord and Master in His first advent as recorded in Saint Mark Gospel chapter 14: 7-9. The Blessed Mothers are they who can easily be defined as the most appropriate role models for women in line with the Divine qualities of Our Holy Mother Elizabeth Olumba Obu who exemplifies strength of godliness, portrays qualities of holiness, virtue and humility.


They are empowered to pray and pronounce blessings upon all humanity. As Priests, some of them are assigned to full time Missionary Work, some are given Administrative responsibilities while some are assigned on special duties as deemed necessary by The Holy Father.  They are responsible to The Holy Father.

The Blessed Mothers are identified by their white soutane and purple cape which they use on Sunday divine service and special occasion.


The College of Bishops came into being since the early 1970s with the introduction of Bishop Ordination and Pew. Normally, they are given States and Nations to administer in addition to any other assignment(s) The Holy Father seems appropriate. The assignment of portfolios to them remains the sole prerogative of The Holy Father. The mark of identification is the Purple Turban (or Girdle) they tie around their waist.

It is expected of BCS’ Bishops to exhibit humility and to be exemplary in the leadership of the flock under their jurisdictions. When assigned to any State or Nation, the Bishop is to work in collaboration with the State or National Administrator and all accredited Priests for the growth and development of the Kingdom in that geographical area. They are responsible to The Holy Father in the discharge of their duties.


The Divine Vanguards Body was physically established by The Supreme Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu on the 7th of August, 2016. The body is charged to administer the word of God, the Holy sacrament in the BCS Kingdom with the spirit of service, compassion and justice. They are to uphold the fundamental values and norms of the BCS fold as they are The Holy Father’s official ombudsmen to all categories of missionaries especially the posted Missionaries.  Some of them are assigned to manage the BCS formations across the world.


The Divine Vanguards are adorned with special green capes as official uniform. The Green Cape, according to The Holy Father, symbolises growth, increase and blessings to the Children of God. The Green Cape is used on Sunday divine service and during special occasion.


The Christ Ambassadors were revealed by The Holy Father on the 5TH of April, 2012 as the nucleus of the Unified Universal Theocratic Government of God on earth. As custodians of the BCS norms, practices and doctrine, some of them are assigned to supervise Areas, States, Nations, Regions and continents. Some are given administrative responsibilities in the fold. They are to communicate the wishes of The Holy Father to the children of God. They are also to meet with respective World leaders and inform them about the Manifestation of The King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu and the establishment of the Unified Universal Theocratic Government which slogan is ‘One King, one Government’. 


Because of the uniqueness of their assignment, they are adorned with special royal blue garment as official regalia. The royal blue rope signifies orderliness, prosperity and promotion.

144,000 VIRGINS

This Body was physically established by the Holy Father Leader Olumba Olumba Obu on the 14th of August 1991 in accordance with the scripture in Revelation 14: 1-5 which says: ‘These are they who were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the first-fruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God’.

 The primary mission of the 144,000 Virgins is to reveal and uphold the Glory, Honour and Authority of The King of kings and Lord of lords, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu at all times through songs and gospel. They are completely dedicated to the worship of God in spirit and in truth. They are to exhibit the qualities of The Holy Father in their utterances, dressing, appearance, and behaviour at all times.

Also known as the “Children of God” The BCS Virgins are trained by the Supernatural Teacher and sent to various BCS Bethels and Pentecostal Centers as missionaries to teach people about the physical manifestation of The Returned Christ, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu. During special events, the 144,000 Virgins are adorned with the white soutane and yellow Cape which symbolises love, purity and service to God and humanity.


The Archbishops are special male brethren divinely handpicked by The Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu to exhibit highest level of service to God and humanity as taught by The Holy Father. The Archbishops are addressed as ‘Your Grace’ because they have been empowered by The Holy Spirit to teach, advised, bless and lead the flock of God in humility. The mark of identification of an Archbishop in BCS is the Maroon Turban (or Girdle) they tie around the waist. They are responsible to The Holy Father who may assign special portfolio to them at anytime.


The Eminences are brethren ordained by The Holy Father from various pews in BCS to serve Him in all amount of dedication, loyalty and sacrifice. Members of this body are assigned to supervise and oversee the affairs of other priestly bodies such as the Blessed Mothers of the New Kingdom, Universal Women Fellowship and Children Fellowship.


They are empowered by The Holy Father to serve as Mothers of all the priestly bodies and to practically demonstrate the teachings of The Holy Father as well as exhibit the qualities of The Holy Mother, Elizabeth Olumba Olumba Obu. They are also expected to see to the beauty of The Throne of God and the wellbeing of the children of God especially the officially posted priests in the Kingdom of God.

They are adorned with special royal purple garment as official symbol of office. The royal purple robe symbolizes royalty, service and divine love.


These are the first heavenly Order and are known as The Patriarchs. They are to supervise all priestly bodies and all BCS members from the 144,000 Virgins Body to the Sabbath Children. They are to scrutinise all events in BCS before presentation to The Holy Father for His blessings. The Holy Father may also assign them for various responsibilities to Regions, Countries and Continents as Administrators and Ministers of the Word of God. 


The Christ Shepherds are spiritually and physically decorated with a White Soutane and a Red Cape. The White Soutane is also beautifully designed with red button and red around their wrists which is a symbol of authority, power and blessings of God upon humanity.


BCS Members who strictly obey the teachings of The Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and are active both in words and action shall have the full support of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Kingdom.

Such members are protected by Brotherhood of the Cross and Star and are assisted when sick or in need. They are entitled to material as well as spiritual help, which extends to their children. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star shall always be by them in all conditions of life even unto death.

The Holy Father does not segregate. His love, protection and blessings are for all His Children wherever they may be as The Holy Father sees and knows all His Children. However, it is written “Behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me’ to give every man according as his works shall be. I am the Alpha and Omega’ the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are those who keep His commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city”.  Revelation 22:12 -14
